We'll be on a road trip from Portland to Eugene then to the coast and back up
to Tillamook before leaving from Portland again. We have a week and our goal
is 62 letterboxes (which would bring us to F500!). Which ones are "must dos"
which are easy and which ones would take too much time to meet our goal?
Any suggestions are much appreciated!

Must do's in Eugene:
Chip
and CymruWitch's Eugene park series (I'm not sure if there are others):
The Rose Box
The Rhododendron Box
The Eugene Skinner Box
They have beutiful stamps, the most unique logbooks I have ever seen,
and are perfect length hikes. All of them are right in Eugene, and
once we got there, if we had just stamped in and not stayed, they
would have taken maybe 1/2 hour round trip.

I just love these kind of posts. I remember once last year someone got a little cranky and complained that people should do their own research when visiting an area and not rely on others to tell them what boxes to hunt or some such nonsense. They must not have been eating enough roughage that week or something. Anyway, I love posts like this because it gives others a chance to chime in with "Hey, we're gonna be there too!" or "Hey, I live in that area" and set up a meeting or exchange. If anyone is ever flying through Philly Int'l Airport, or within 2 hours of Philly on vacation please shoot me an email. I love to meet a greet fellow letterboxers both near and far.
